Beta Alpha Psi at George Mason University

Founded in 1841, Beta Alpha Psi (ΧΨ) has a rich history of embracing values that define a true gentleman. At its inception, Chi Psi was the first Greek-letter organization to depart from literary characteristics and focus on brotherhood.

The definition of a gentleman, as put forward by John Walter Wayland in 'The True Gentleman', resonated with the fraternity's founding principles. Over time, Chi Psi has continued to evolve its values, adopting revisions at its 122nd National Convention in 1963.

Today, Beta Alpha Psi is proud to have active chapters at 34 American colleges and universities, including George Mason University.
